The ASL Summer Camp is a fun, interactive experience that takes place in person on the Plano campus and provides an introduction to all aspects of American Sign Language. In this camp, you will not only learn nearly 700 manual signs and essential vocabulary, but also the finger-spelling alphabet and deaf culture/disability awareness. Our deaf staff will help you will learn to use American Sign Language for a variety of situations with the camp ending in a deaf event where we will provide pizza and drinks. The camp is open to attendees 12-14 years of age and the cost of the entire two-week camp is $225. For more information, please contact Associate Dean Mark Fischer (mfischer@collin.edu).
